BICTE - Overview

The Bachelor of Information Communication Technology Education (BICTE) is an undergraduate program offered by Tribhuvan University under the Faculty of Education. This comprehensive 4-year, semester-based program is designed to span over 8 semesters and cover a total of 138 credit hours. BICTE aims to equip students with a strong foundation in both modern education systems and computer science, with a particular focus on the use of information and communication technology.

Department Vision & Mission

At Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus, we cater to around 100 students enrolled in the BICTE program, all eager to forge their paths in the thriving ICT domain. Recognizing the evolving landscape of the industry, our educational approach centers on fostering tangible skills and pragmatic knowledge. Our pedagogical focus leans heavily towards interactive workshops, seminars and experiential learning, offering students as practical edge as they step into the realm of ICT.

Department Programs

These subjects include Information Technology, Psychology, Fundamental & Technology in Education, Java Programming Language, Database Management System, Data Communication and Artificial Intelligence.
